Sunk Garden

The Sunk Garden is as expected sheltered from the wind, here are a series of raised beds, alpine troughs, a square pond at its centre with a plinth supporting a modern sculpture by Bill Cordaroy, a Blacksmith-Artist, representing the owners of the garden in stainless steel and glass. There is a further pond attached to a retaining wall with a spout continuously spewing forth water bounded by a pair of steps leading to the upper level. Here are borders filled with plants including a giant Bamboo that travels from the adjacent Exotic Garden.
